This report analyzes the potential for coordinating New York's public health insurance programs with various other public benefits in order to maximize enrollment in supports that low-income families are eligible for. The report analyzes eligibility requirements, barriers to alignment and strategies for overcoming points of disconnect with public health insurance programs, WIC (Women, Infants and Children), School Meals, Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) and subsidized child care programs.
