Your gifts to the Children's Defense Fund - New York help to ensure every child a Healthy Start, a Head Start, a Fair Start, a Safe Start and a Moral Start in life and successful passage to adulthood through caring families and communities.

We do not accept any government funds or funding that might seek to influence our positions. CDF-NY prides itself on using our donors' money wisely and effectively. Administrative and fundraising costs account for less than 18 percent of our spending.
